Our task was to create a comprehensive mobile application dedicated to the platform drobnicamorska.pl, supporting both iOS and Android systems. The main objective of the project was to replicate the functionality available on the website, primarily the calculation of sea freight costs based on specified loading and unloading ports.

The mobile applications were developed in native languages: Swift for iOS and Java for Android, ensuring smooth performance and full adaptation to the specifics of each platform.

Project Scope

  1. Design and implementation of the graphical interface

The interface was designed in line with the client’s guidelines, optimized for mobile device ergonomics, focusing on high intuitiveness and aesthetics.

  1. App Modules
  • User login and registration – Secure authentication with the ability to create new accounts.
  • User profile – The ability to view, edit data, and manage the account.
  • Order history – Access to the history of placed orders, allowing users to track and analyze past transactions.
  • Help and support – A module providing quick access to information, technical assistance, and customer support.
  • Discount codes – A system for entering and applying promotional codes to take advantage of discounts.
  • Sea freight cost calculator – The key feature of the app, allowing accurate cost estimation based on the specified loading and unloading ports.
  • Shipping document upload module – A feature enabling easy upload and storage of shipping documents.
  1. External integrations
  • LiveChat – Direct integration with the LiveChat module, ensuring quick communication between users and the support team.
  • Google SDK and notification support – Integration enabling the use of push notifications with full support for Google SDK.
  1. Admin panel with API
  • Technology and backend: Implemented in Java using the Spring framework, ensuring stability and security. The backend handles all management functions and data exchange with the app.
  • Frontend: Created using Angular, providing an efficient and dynamic user interface.
  • Database: Designed using SQL, allowing efficient and secure handling of user data, transactions, and system logs.

The mobile application implementation for the drobnicamorska.pl service was an advanced project involving both the frontend layer and an extensive technological backend, ensuring high-quality service, reliability, and functionality tailored to the needs of the sea freight industry.
